Leicaflex Dummy

The Leicaflex Dummy is a non-functional replica of the Leicaflex SLR camera, manufactured by Leica between 1964 and 1968 for display and training purposes. As a dummy unit, it lacks a functional shutter, lens mount, and internal mechanisms, serving solely as a visual and tactile model. Constructed with the same robust metal body and finish as the actual Leicaflex, it accurately reflects the design aesthetics of the era but possesses no photographic capability. Its primary existence was within Leica's own infrastructure, likely used for showroom displays, dealer training aids, or potentially as a prop during the launch of the real Leicaflex series.
