Changjiang 长江

The Changjiang 长江 is a simple 35mm box camera introduced by the Chinese manufacturer Changjiang in 1958. Designed for the mass market, it offers basic functionality with a single-element lens and a straightforward shutter providing bulb (B) mode plus speeds from 1/10 to 1/200 second, suitable for typical snapshot photography. Its lightweight, compact construction weighing 283 grams made it an accessible entry point into 35mm photography for consumers during a period of domestic manufacturing development in China.
